About

5e Cards is for running fifth edition games at a real table. Each monster, spell and magic item is a card you can print and hand across, and the tools around them, the encounter builder, initiative tracker, spellbook and character sheet, work without an account and keep your notes in your own browser.

The rules text comes from the System Reference Document 5.1, the part of the 2014 fifth edition rules that Wizards of the Coast publishes under a Creative Commons licence. Monsters, spells and items outside that document are not here. Encounter difficulty uses the standard XP thresholds and multipliers for fifth edition.

5e Cards is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
